Wildcats upsets Sun Devils in Tucson

The No. 17 Arizona Wildcats defeated its rival No. 3 Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday night. The Wildcats won 84-78 from the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona.
The Wildcats improved to 11-3 on the season. Arizona is on an eight-game win streak.
This is their biggest win of the season. They are 1-1 vs. ranked teams this season, as they lost to the No. 14 Purdue Boilermakers, 89-64, on November 24th, 2017.
This is the Sun Devils first loss of the season, as they fell to 12-1.
Allonzo Trier and DeAndre Ayton had 23 points each. Trier also had two rebounds and four assists.
Ayton also had 19 rebounds and three assists.
Dušan Ristić was the other Wildcats player in double-figures, as he had 12 points.
The Wildcats has 14 bench points.
The Sun Devils were led by Tra Holder, who scored 31 points. He also had five rebounds and an assist.
Mickey Mitchell was the other starter to score in double-figures, as he had 10 points. Remy Martin came off the bench and added 11 points.
The Sun Devils has 22 bench points, including Martin’s 11 points.
