Rozier comes off the bench with 20 as Celtics beat Cavaliers

The Boston Celtics defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night. They defeated the Cavaliers, 102-88, at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Celtics improved to 31-10 this season. The Cavaliers fell to 25-13.

Boston evened the series with Cleveland to 1-1 this season. In addition, Isiah Thomas returned to Boston this evening; however, he did not play after making his season debut on Tuesday night.

Thomas even hugged it out with Kyrie Irving and his former Celtic teammates.

Terry Rozier led the Celtics with 20 points off the bench. He also had four rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes.

Jayson Tatum had 15 points to lead the starters in 30 minutes. He also had five rebounds and two assists.

Rozier and Tatum were one of six Boston players, who scored in double-figures. Four of them were starters, as Marcus Smart also had 15 points off the bench.

Irving, who was involved in the blockbuster deal with these two teams in September, had 11 points in 28 minutes.

The Celtics had 47 bench points, led by Rozier with his 20.

LeBron James, who reportedly had issues with Irving during their time in Cleveland, led the Cavaliers with 19 points in 33 minutes. He also had seven rebounds and six assists.

The Cavaliers had five players, who scored in double-figures. Only two came from the starting lineup, including 10 points by J.R. Smith.

Cleveland had 45 bench points, including 15 points by Kyle Korver.

The Cavaliers only had one player from the Irving blockbuster, who actually played for them in this game. Jae Crowder had six points in 28 minutes.
