The Houston Rockets would like to sign Bobby Brown later in the season for the rest of the season, according to Yahoo Sports. However, Brown is in talks with teams in China.
The 33-year-old was with the Rockets from 2016 through 2018. He was released by the team on January 5th, 2018.

Brown has previously played in China. He signed with the Dongguan Leopards in the summer of 2013.
While in China, he scored 74 points in a 137-135 overtime win over Sichuan Blue Whales on December 27th, 2013. At the time, it was the second-most points in a Chinese basketball game, falling one point shy of Quincy Douby’s 75 point record.
Now, those two records are the second-and-third most in a game as the previous record was eclipsed on January 30th, 2015. Errick McCollum, the younger brother of Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum, scores 82 points in a game.
When he signed with the Rockets on September 23rd, 2016, it was his first-time in the Association since he played for the Los Angeles Clippers in 2010.
