Ryan leads Falcons past Rams

The No. 6 seeded Atlanta Falcons defeated the No. 3 Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night. The Falcons won 26-13 at Los Angeles Memorial Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

The Falcons improved to 11-6 on the season. Atlanta is on a two-game win steak.

The Rams ended their season with an 11-6 record under first-year Head Coach Sean McVay. Los Angeles was the NFC West Division Champions.

The Falcons will face the Philadelphia Eagles next weekend. It will also be a homecoming for Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who is from Pennsylvania.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan went 21 of 30 for 218 passing yards. He also had one touchdown.

Devonta Freeman had 18 carries for 66 yards, including a touchdown. Tevin Coleman had 14 carries for 40 yards.

Julio Jones had nine receptions for 94 yards, including a touchdown. Mohamed Sanu has four receptions for 75 yards. Coleman had three receptions for 28 yards.

Falcons kicker Matt Bryant had four field goals.

Rams quarterback Jared Goff went 24 of 45 for 259 passing yards. He also had a touchdown.

Todd Gurley has 14 carries for 101 yards.

Robert Woods has nine receptions for 142 yards. Cooper Kupp has eight receptions for 69 yards, including a touchdown. Sammy Watkins had a 23 yard reception.

Rams kicker San Ficken also made two field goals.
