Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers in Philadelphia. He will also miss Monday’s game against the Phoenix Suns.
The basketball player has been dealing with knee soreness for the past several months. With missing these two days, he will have eight days off to rest and receive treatment.
The Bucks are hoping that he could return on Friday, January 26th against the Brooklyn Nets.
He missed a game on November 22nd against the Suns due to the same injury. He also missed the December 23rd game with the Charlotte Hornets.
Antetokounmpo has already been named an All-Star for next month’s game. He is averaging 28.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.
The Bucks will also be without Malcolm Brogdon in Saturday’s game. It’s considered personal reasons.
Antetokounmpo is averaging career-high numbers with the 28.2 average this season through the first part of the season. Last season, his fourth in the league, he averaged a career-high 22.9 points.
