The Minnesota Vikings will have a quarterback dilemma next season. It was believed that Case Keenum was going to get franchise or transition tagged.
Now, after the Vikings laid an egg in the NFC Conference Championship game, the franchise will likely rethink things. All three of their quarterbacks are scheduled to be free agents.
Keenum struggled on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Philadelphia is presently winning big as of this post.
He has gone 21 of 37 for 218 passing yards. He had a touchdown and an interception.
Since Keenum threw the pick-six interception, the Eagles have 31 additional points. Minnesota has not scored since their opening possession.
Sam Bradford, who they acquired in a trade in 2016 with the Eagles, is also slated to be a free agent. Teddy Bridgewater, who returned this season after a scary knee injury, is going to be a free agent, too.
The Vikings will also reportedly lose offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur to the New York Giants head coaching job. Head Coach Mike Zimmer and the front office will have a lot to figure out in the next several months.
