The Buffalo Bills have signed two-time Pro Bowler Vontae Davis. He has received a one-year deal.
Davis, 29, will be joining his third team in the NFL. He previously played for the Miami Dolphins and the Indianapolis Colts.
He was released by the Colts after the season.
Davis played in five games with Indianapolis during their 4-12 campaign in 2017. The five games were the fewest amount of games he played in during his entire nine-year career.
He played in 76 games, all starts, with the Colts in six seasons wearing the Blue Horseshoe. He had 229 tackles, 1.0 sacks, 13 interceptions, 75 pass deflections, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
He played three seasons with the Dolphins, where he played in 44 games, including 36 starts. He had 177 tackles, nine interceptions — including one interception returned for a touchdown — 31 pass deflections, and one forced fumbles.
