Shabazz Muhammad joins the Bucks

Free agent forward Shabazz Muhammad has signed with the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night. Muhammad was recently bought out by the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.

He was previously the 14th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Timberwolves. Muhammad has spent his past five seasons in Minnesota.

This season, he appeared in 32 games, including two starts. He averaged 3.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game.

The 25-year-old has appeared in 267 games, including 16 starts, with the Timberwolves. He’s averaged 9.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

The Bucks now stand at 17 players, including two two-way players. Muhammad will wear No. 15 for the Bucks.

Muhammad will back up Kris Middleton and Sterling Brown as a small forward.

Only twice in Muhammad’s career has be played nearly close to a full season, he played a full season in 2015-16 and played in 78 games last season.
