The Cleveland Browns are not messing around. They have pulled off their second trade of the day on Friday.
In their first deal, they made a blockbuster deal to acquire Jarvis Landry in a trade with the Miami Dolphins. This deal is expected to be made once the new league year starts.
In their second deal, the Browns acquired Tyrod Taylor in a deal with the Buffalo Bills. Like the Landry deal, this deal will not become official until the new league year.

In total, the Browns are giving up three picks. They traded a pick this year and a 2019 pick to the Dolphins for Landry, while sending a third-round pick to the Bills for Taylor.
The Bills will receive the 65th overall pick in the draft.
Taylor will now join his third NFL franchise. He joins the Browns with one year left on his quarterback.
He may turn out to be a bridge quarterback for the team, as they could pick a signal-caller with the No. 1 or No. 4 overall pick in April’s draft.
Taylor joins the Browns after starting 14 out of 15 games this past season with the Bills. Head coach Sean McDermott and his new regime did not see Taylor as their franchise quarterback.
He was the starter for the Bills for the past three seasons. He started 43 out of 44 games with the franchise. He went 22-20 in those games.
Taylor completed 774 of 1,236 passes for 8,857 passing yards. He also had 51 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

He spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens.
The Bills are now free to target a new quarterback in the draft or free agency. Nathan Peterman, who the new staff loves, is not ready to be the guy moving forward. He’s too raw.
