WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy has been on the shelf for some time, as he recovers from an injury. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Hardy was arrested in North Carolina this weekend for driving while impaired.
Hardy was booked by the Cabarrus County Sherriff’s Office on Saturday night at around 10:20 pm. After being in custody for an hour, he was released at 11:24 pm.

He reportedly ran off at around 8 pm. When he ran off the road, he struck a guardrail, which then spun his card out and into the middle of the northbound lane.

PWInsider is reporting he was given a 30-day pretrial revocation of his driver’s license. He also has to appear in court on April 16th.
Hardy, who was recently cleared to return to action, has not officially been cleared by the WWE. He has been out since October after having a torn rotator cuff surgery.
In a strange video posted, also on Saturday, somebody was recording a video of a cell phone playing from the driver’s seat moving on a highway. Even though it’s posted on Hardy’s social media account, we cannot verify that he was doing this.
The Hardy news comes hours after the WWE held the Fastlane pay-per-view for the Smackdown-exclusive show. The Hardy Boyz are on the Raw brand.
Without Jeff, Matt has been in single competition for a while. Right now, Matt is in a feud with Bray Wyatt, who is expected to face each other at WrestleMania.
Matt and Bray recently filed parts of the “Ultimate Deletion” at Matt’s Cameron, North Carolina home this past Friday.
Jeff has had two Wellness Policy violations from 2006 through 2009. He also had an incident, where he was reportedly intoxicated with Sting at Victory Road in 2011.
