Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor has been traded to the Cleveland Browns. In exchange, the Bills received a 2018 third-round draft pick.
Taylor is expected to compete for the starting position. The Browns are expected to use the No. 1 overall pick in April’s NFL Draft on a quarterback.

Right now, it is not clear who that quarterback may be.
The Browns went 0-and-16 during the 2017 season. They were the second team in recent history to go winless, as the 2008 Detroit Lions also went winless on the season.
DeShone Kizer was 0-15 as a starter. He went 255 of 476 for 2,894 yards. He also had 11 touchdown passes and a team-high 22 interceptions.
Kevin Hogan also went 0-1 as a starter. Hogan went 46 of 75 for 517 yards with four touchdown passes. He also had five interceptions.
Cody Kessler received little playing time. He went 11 of 23 for 126 yards. Kessler also had an interception.
Last season — which would be his final season in Buffalo — he went 8-6 as a starter. Taylor went 263 of 420 for 2,799 yards.
He had 14 touchdown passes and four interceptions.
Taylor completed his third season with the Bills during the 2017 season. Before joining Buffalo, he spent four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
However, it wasn’t until his arrival in Buffalo did he saw increased playing time, as he became a starter.
