According to the Centre Daily Times in Pennsylvania, Penn State Nittany Lions guard Nazeer Bostick was arrested. He was charged with marijuana possession on Thursday.

Bostick has been suspended for the team’s second-round NIT game after violating team rules, according to associate athletic director Jeff Nelson. The Nittany Lions face the No. 1 seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday in the National Invitational Tournament (NIT).

The game will rip off at noon.

“Officers responded to Nittany Apartments for an odor of marijuana and observed a marijuana cigarette on a window sill in the back of the apartment,” the police report said. “The cigarette appeared to be freshly lit, according to police.”

The Ziplock bag was found in Bostick’s bedroom. He told the law enforcement authorities that a guest had left the items in his room, before he moved them to the window ledge.

He was charged with a misdemeanor.

The soph. was the sixth-best scorer on the team. He averaged 4.9 points per game this season.
