For the first time in more than a decade, the Texas Tech Red Raiders are in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. The No. 3 seed Red Raiders defeated the No. 6 Florida Gators, 69-66, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Texas Tech improved to 25-9 on the season. The Red Raiders advances to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 2005.

The Red Raiders will have to wait until later today to find out who their next opponent will be. They will face either the No. 5 West Virginia Mountaineers or the No. 13 Marshall Thundering Herd.

This game will tip off at 9:40 pm on Sunday on TBS.
Florida ended their season with a 21-12 record.
Keenan Evans led the Red Raiders with 22 points. He also had three rebounds and one assist.
Evans was one of three Texas Tech players, who scored in double-figures. Zhaire Smith scored 18 points, while Jarrett Culver scored 11 points.
The Red Raiders had 15 bench points. Zach Smith led the bench with six points.

Jalen Hudson led the Gators with 23 points. He also had four rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
Hudson was one of three Florida players, who scored in double-digits. Egor Koulechov scored 12 points, while Chris Chiozza added 11 points.
The Gators had nine bench points. Keith Stone led the bench with seven points.
