Carlo suffered a broken fibula. The injury happened in the third period against the Florida Panthers, as his leg got tangled on the ice when he was falling down.

He is definitely done for the rest of the regular season, as there are only a few games left. Depending on how far the Bruins go in the playoffs, there is a chance he could return in the extra stanza of the season.

Chára has appeared in 68 games this season. He has had seven goals and 16 assists.

The Bruins lead the Eastern Conference with 109 points. Boston is 49-17-11 on the season.
