Conor McGregor’s agent Audie Attar said before the UFC 223 main card that his client wants to fight again as soon as possible. However, the question is where?
McGregor, despite previously having a close relationship with UFC president Dana White, may never fight again within his company. He’s already said he’s not helping McGregor with the mess he’s got himself into.
According to reports after the melee, White was working towards a deal for McGregor to fight later this year. He has not fought in the Octagon since Nov. 2016 in New York.
But those plans ended when McGregor and his gang from The Mac Life, his UFC credentialed website, let him into the Barclays Center. His squad was going after Khabib Nurmagomedov because he cornered Artem Lobov this past Tues. in the UFC host hotel.
Nurmagomedov was the main target when McGregor arrived. He attacked a bus carrying UFC fighters, injuring several fighters in Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg, when he threw a dolly through the window. It also shake up Rose Namajumas before her fight with Joanna Jędrzejczyk.
UFC and Barclays Center security guards did not allow McGregor to get his hands on Nurmagomedov. Yet, the Russian fighter said after being taken off the bus that all McGregor needs to do is name the location and they will fight each other.
But with his legal troubles, as he was arrested and charged with assault and other charges from the melee, along with White’s statements that he’ll never fight in his company again, this fight may need to happen with another company.
