KSU reserve Amaad Wainright transfers

Amaad Wainright has announced his intentions to transfer from the Kansas State Wildcats men’s basketball program. The forward will have to sit out the upcoming 2018-19 season when he does pick his new institution.

The reserve forward, who completed his junior season, the Wildcats to an Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. He played in 36 games and averaged 13.1 minutes per game.

Wainright leaves the program after after being suspended indefinitely last week.
