The Washington Wizards defeated the Toronto Raptors. The Wizards won 122-103 on Friday night at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
This is the Wizards first win in their season. The Raptors won the first two games North of the Border before the series went to the United States.
The Wizards will look to even the series up at 2 on Sunday, April 22nd at 6 pm.
John Wall and Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 28 points each. Wall also had six rebounds, 14 assists, four steals, and one block.
Beal also had four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
When Wall and Beal score 25 points each this season, the Wizards are 7-0.
Wall and Beal were one of five Washington players, who scored in double-figures. Marcin Gortat also scored 16 points.
Mike Scott and Kelly Oubre Jr. also had 12 points each.
The Wizards had 35 bench points. Scott and Oubre Jr. led the bench with 12 points each.
DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 23 points. He also had three rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block.
DeRozan was one of four Toronto players, who scored in double-digits. Kyle Lowry had 19 points, while Jonas Valančiūnas added 14 points, and OG Anunoby contributed 12 points.
The Raptors had 32 bench points. C.J. Miles led the bench with nine points.
