The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without forward Kevin Love on Sunday night. He will miss Game 7 in Boston, Mass., as he experience concussion-like symptoms.
Love was injured in Game 6 during a collision with Jayson Tatum. The team refused to update his condition after the game on Friday night and waited until Saturday afternoon.
He was injured at 7:07 in the first quarter, as Tatum tried to get through a screen. He stayed down, as the Cavaliers intentionally fouled to get him help.
He has been the Cavaliers second-best scorer in this series, while the rest of the teammates have been inconsistent. LeBron James has been amazing, carrying his team to the Eastern Conference Finals by himself on most nights.
Love, who has a history of concussions, did not score in five minutes of action. After Love had to go out, he was replaced on the floor by Jeff Green.
In Game 5, Love was only one of two Cavaliers, who scored in double figures in their 96-83 loss. James had 26, while Love 14.
Love led the Cavaliers in Game 1 in scoring, as Boston won on Mother’s Day.
