The No. 3 Yale Bulldogs leads at halftime over No. 4 Duke Blue Devils in the NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The Bulldogs lead 6-4 at halftime.
The Bulldogs are attempting to win their first National Championship. They won a National Championship before but that was pre-NCAA in 1883, which they also shared with the Harvard Crimson and the Princeton Tigers.
The Blue Devils if they can win this would win their fourth National Championship this decade. They win in 2010, then 2013 and 2014.
Jack Tigh led the Bulldogs with three goals. Matt Gaudet and Joseph Sessa also scored.
Ben Reeves has an assist. Lucas Cotler also has two assists.
Freshman Bulldogs goalie Jack Starr made four saves.
