ROH Best in the World Baltimore results

Ring of Honor’s Best in the World 2018 took place on Friday night at the UMBC Events Center in Baltimore, Maryland. The show began with The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O’Ryan, and Vinny Marseglia) defeating Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, EVIL, and SANADA).

Flip Gordon then defeated Bully Ray by disqualification. Following the disqualification, Bully Ray attacked Gordon, before Cheeseburger returned and attempted to help Gordon. Colt Cabana also interfered at the end.

Jenny Rose, Mayu Iwatani, Sumie Sakai, and Tenille Dashwood defeated Oedo Tai (Hana Kimura, Hazuki, and Kagetsu), along with Kelly Klein. Austin Aries also defeated Kenny King.

Jay Lethal defeated KUSHIDA. Then Punishment Martinez defeated Hangman Page to retain the Ring of Honor Television Championship in a Baltimore Street Fight. Martinez has been the ROH World Television Champion for the past 14 days, as he won the belt on June 16th, 2018.

The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe) also defeated The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) to retain their Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships.
The Briscoes have been the ROH World Tag Team Champions — this time for the ninth time — since March 9th, 2018, as they have now held the belt for 113 days.

Dalton Castle then defeated The Bullet Club’s Cody and Marty Scurll in the ROH’s World Title Three-Way Match for Castle’s Ring of Honor Championship. Castle has been the ROH champion for 197 days since winning the belt on December 15th, 2017.
