For the second straight year, Street Outlaws will be taking over Bristol Dragway. This time, the event will take place on Tuesday, August 21st.
This event is free to the public. Also, the gates will open at 11:30 am. The filming will begin at 1:30 pm.
At last year’s event, Justin “Big Chief” Shearer won as he defeated the Bird Brothers’ Jerry Bird in the final round. He will look to repeat and take home the bragging rights and the winner-take-all $200,000 check.

The $200,000 is double the money that was given to Big Chief for his win last year. In addition, it is the largest payout in Street Outlaws and No Prep history.
Pilgrim Media Group, who produced last year’s festivities until early in the morning, will be filming the event once again. The Street Outlaws show from the Bristol, Tennessee facility will air in early 2019.
According to the press release, there will be a limited number of parking spots available. The parking will begin at $20, but there will be preferred parking options for $35 or more.

“Last year’s Street Outlaws event was a huge success with a standing room only crowd at Thunder Valley,” said Jerry Caldwell, executive vice president and general manager of Bristol Dragway. “With a record purse and a stacked field, the pressure will be on Big Chief to defend his Bristol title in front of the legions of Street Outlaws fans.”

The Street Outlaws stars will also take part in other festivities, including the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race weekend. The 405 Top Ten List, including Big Chief, Murder Nova, along with the antics of Farmtruck and AZN, and 22 other drivers from across the country will battle it out.
Last year, there were complaints from No Prep racers that Oklahoma City purchased the track beforehand for them to test before everyone else.
