According to TMZ Sports, boxer Victor Ortiz is wanted by the law enforcement authorities. He reportedly violated his probation from his DUI case.

He failed to check in with his probation officer on June 20th. After failing to report to his probation officer, the authorities arranged for Ortiz to have to appear in court on July 10th.

The boxer reportedly did not appear at that court date. Now, there is a warrant out for his arrest.

Ortiz — who is a former WBC welterweight champion — was arrested in 2016 for drunk driving. He later sentenced to three years probation following the arrest.

The authorities will not hunt him down. However, if he is arrested for anything, as he breaks the law, he’ll be arrested on the warrant, as well, and sent to jail.

The bail for his warrant is set for $5,000.

The 31-year-old Ortiz, who resides in Ventura, California, is 32-6-3 in his boxing career. Twenty-five of his 32 bouts has come by knockout.

Five of his six losses have come by knockout. He has knocked out 61% of his bouts.

He has not fought since being defeated by Devon Alexander by a majority decision on February 17th, 2018 at the Don Haskins Convention Center in El Paso, Texas.

He has not won a bought since defeating Saul Corral by knockout on July 30th, 2017.
