After the Milwaukee Bucks rescinded their qualifying offer to Jabari Parker, the then-unrestricted free agent signed a two-year deal with the Chicago Bulls. He will receive $40 million over those two years.
Parker, despite being hampered by injuries in his Bucks career, will now receive a $20 million average per season. Now, there are five teams in the NBA, according to Spotrac, which have three $20-plus million players.
With the Bulls, Parker will now be the highest-paid player. He surpasses Zach LaVine, who Chicago matches the Sacramento Kings offer sheet to give him a base salary of $19.5 million.

Despite just being 23 years old, Parker is coming back from two torn ACLs that he experienced with the Bucks. He gets to go home with this move.
He went to Simeon Career Academy in Chicago, Illinois, before attending Duke University.
Parker is listed as a power forward. Right now, Lauri Markkanen is listed as their starting power forward unless Fred Hoiberg, the Bulls’ head coach, elects to use him as a small forward, where Justin Holiday is the projected starter.
Parker played in just 31 games, including three starts, last season, as he recovered from his second torn ACL. He averaged 12.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game.

In his career, he appeared in 183, including 150 starts. He has a career average of 15.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.4 blocks.
