Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Eddie Krawiec is the PSM No. 1 qualifier at the Dodge Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado. This is his first No. 1 qualifier of the season.
In addition, this is his 40th career No. 1 qualifier. Krawiec went 7.111 at 187.03 on the mountain to get the top spot for the event.
“I got a good bike and we went .711 both laps [on Saturday] and I think that is something to say about how good the program is being very consistent,” he said. “It makes me feel comfortable going into race day, we have a good setup for both lanes no matter what, and I have a very consistent motorcycle.”
Krawiec will face Stoffer Enterprises Suzuki’s Karen Stoffer in the first-round of eliminations on Sunday. She went 7.310 at 182.11 mph.
Lucas Oil TV’s Hector Arana Jr. went 7.135 at 188.86 mph for the No. 2 position. Arana Jr. will face Ryan Oehler in the first-round of eliminations after he went 7.306 at 183.57 mph on his Buell.
Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson’s Andrew Hines is the No. 3 qualifier after he went 7.146 at 188.04 mph. Hines will face Delaware native Joey Gladstone, who went 7.288 at 182.45 mph on his Suzuki.
Polaris Victory Magnum’s Matt Smith is the No. 4 qualifier on the mountain after he went 7.158 at 185.54 mph. Smith will face Suzuki Extended Protection’s Jimmy Underdahl in the first-round of eliminations after he went 7.261 at 182.95 mph.
Lucas Oil TV’s Hector Arana is the No. 5 qualifier after he went 7.207 at 185.77 mph. Arana will face White Alligator Racing’ Jerry Savoie, who went 7.259 at 183.05 mph.
