Big Chief eliminated in round one at Street Outlaws Bristol 2018

The Street Outlaws Bristol event is being held on Tuesday in Bristol, Tennessee at Bristol Dragway. This is the second-straight year of the event.

The winner will take home $200,000. It’s the largest amount ever given out to a driver in a winner-take-all series in No Prep.

Justin “Big Chief” Shearer won last year’s inaugural event that aired in early 2018. He defeated Jerry Bird in the final round.

Instead of racing very early in the morning, they changed it this time around. Last year’s event wrapped up around 2:30 am.

They scheduled to race earlier today to complete it all in one day. Big Chief was eliminated in the first round of this year’s event.

According to the Street Outlaws’ official Twitter account, he was eliminated in the first round by Shawn Wilhoit. Bird, who was the inaugural runner-up, defeated Bobby Ducote in the first round.

Wilhoit was eliminated in the second round by Reaper, who is driven by James Goad. Bird was also eliminated in the second round by Megalodon, driven by Brent Austin.

The Street Outlaws’ Twitter Page said after the second round they could not update its fans with what happened over the rest of the event. This event is also likely to air in early 2019 during an all-new Street Outlaws 405 season.
