U.S. Nationals 2018 Funny Car Semifinals Eliminations

Funny Car has completed its semifinal round of eliminations at the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana. These four drivers are competing for the prestigious U.S. Nationals Wally.

J.R. Todd defeated Tommy Johnson Jr. in the semifinals. Todd is looking to win his second Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals.

Todd has two wins this season. He has not won a race since Houston when he defeated Robert Hight.

He’s looking for his third career win. He’s going to try to become the sixth Funny Car driver to win back-to-back races in Indianapolis.

Matt Hagan defeated Shawn Langdon in the semifinals. “The Hulk” has three wins this season.

He is looking for win No. 30. He has not won a race since Epping, New Hampshire at the New England Nationals when he defeated Tim Wilkerson.
