Top Fuel has completed its second round of elimination at the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana. These eight drivers are competing for the prestigious U.S. Nationals Wally.
Blake Alexander defeated Mike Salinas. The San Jose, California native said he fell asleep at the light, which is how Alexander picked up the win.
Terry McMillen defeated Steve Torrence. The Capco Contractors Pilot won last year’s prestigious event.
Billy Torrence, Steve’s father, has now won six straight rounds. He defeated Clay Millican.
The elder Torrence won the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota two weeks ago. He has won two rounds today.
Doug Kalitta defeated Antron Brown. The Matco Tools Pilot went up in smoke shortly after the race started.
