Melvin Guillard, a former UFC fighter, allegedly attacked and knocked out a man at a Colorado bar, according to TMZ Sports. Now, the cops are looking for Guillard.
He was involved in an incident at the Bar Standard in Denver around 2 am on Monday morning, TMZ is reporting. Following some pushing and shoving from the parties involved, Guillard punched a patron in the face.
The guy, who was hit by Guillard, was knocked out even before he hit the floor. He was unconscious and others, who were at the bar, went to help the individual.
A female, who was not happy with the incident, attempted to retaliate against Guillard. He even hit her.
Guillard was ID’d as the suspect by multiple witnesses. He now has a warrant out for his arrest.
He is known as “The Young Assassin” and represented New Orleans, Louisiana in the Octagon. The 35-year-old went 32-21 in his MMA career. He also has two draws and three no contests in the Octagon, as well.
He has lost eight straight fights, all with Bellator, WSOF, Kunlun Fight MMA, AFC – Australian Fighting Championship, SCL – Sparta Combat League, and Rizin Fighting Federation.
Guillard last fought for Rizin FF when he lost to Takanori Gomi by knockout in the first-round on July 28th, 2018.
He last won a fight on July 5th, 2014 against Gesias Cavalcante when he won by TKO (Punches and Elbows) in the second round. His last win in a prominent organization was when he defeated Mac Danzig at UFC on FOX 8 on July 27th, 2013.
