Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles will start for the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Eagles play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa, Florida at Raymond James Stadium.

This is Foles second straight start to begin the season. Carson Wentz is still not ready.

Wentz, who suffered a torn ACL in December against the Los Angeles Rams, is expected to be out until at least October, according to many pundits. However, Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson has not officially made that statement to the media.

Foles guided the Eagles to a win over the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL Kickoff game on Thursday, September 6th. In that game, he went 19 of 34 for 117 yards.

He also had an interception. His quarterback rating was 50.7.

In the preseason and in the first game, Foles has not looked like he did during the Eagles Super Bowl run last year. He’ll have another chance to show it could do it again.
