Force is provisional No. 1 qualifier at The Grove

Mohnton, Pa. — Advance Auto Parts Funny Car pilot Courtney Force is the provisional No. 1 qualifier in her category on Friday night at the Dodge NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pa. She is looking for her 11th No. 1 qualifier of the season.

The Yorba Linda, California native went 3.907 at 323.27 mph to claim the top spot on Friday.

Levi, Ray, and Shoup Inc. Funny Car pilot Tim Wilkerson was the provisional No. 2 qualifier. The Springfield, Illinois native went 3.912 at 324.20 mph for the second spot.

Make-A-Wish Foundation Funny Car pilot Tommy Johnson Jr. is currently in the No. 3 spot. The Avon, Indiana native went 3.939 at 326.00 mph.

Global Electric Technology Funny Car pilot Shawn Langdon is presently in the No. 4 position. The Danville, Indiana native went 3.944 at 327.90 mph.

NAPA Auto Parts Funny Car pilot Ron Capps rounds out the Top 5. The Carlsbad, California went 3.948 at 326.56 mph.
