Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette is expected to practice on Thursday. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury.
Fournette injured his hamstring against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in Week 1. Then, he missed the team’s home opener against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
This would be Fournette’s second straight practice. He is expected to be limited in practice. But this could mean that he’ll be playing again this Sunday if everything goes well.
The Jaguars play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
In addition, besides Fournette, fellow running back T.J. Yeldon is expected to practice on Thursday.
Yeldon did not practice with the team on Wednesday. Since he’s returning quickly after missing a day of practice, it has to be believed that his injury is just minor.
He also is expected to play on Sunday against the Titans.
The 23-year-old Fournette had nine carries for 41 yards against the Giants. He also had three receptions for 14 yards.
The 24-year-old Yeldon has 24 carries for 109 yards in two games. He also has five receptions for 31 yards.
He had a season-high 58 yards against the 31-20 win over the Patriots on Sunday.
