Haskins accounts for 3 TD’s in Ohio State’s win over Minnesota

The No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes won 30-14 over the Golden Gophers at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

The Buckeyes have now won seven straight games. They improved to 4-0 within conference play.

The Golden Gophers fell to 3-3 on the season. All three of their losses have come within conference play.

They have lost three straight games, including losses to the Maryland Terrapins and the Iowa Hawkeyes besides the Buckeyes. Minnesota won the first three games of the season.

Buckeyes quarterback Dwayne Haskins — who is also a Heisman candidate — went 33 of 44 for 412 yards. He also had three touchdowns.

Mike Weber had 13 carries for 51 yards. J.K. Dobbins had 10 carries for 35 yards.

K.J. Hill had nine receptions for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Parris Campbell had eight receptions for 56 yards. Terry McLaurin had three receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown. Luke Farrell had two receptions for 37 yards.

Golden Gophers quarterback Zack Annexstad went 13 of 23 for 218 yards. He also had two interceptions.

Mohamed Ibrahim had 23 carries for 158 yards and two touchdowns. Seth Green also had five carries for 20 yards.

Tyler Johnson had eight receptions for 119 yards. Bryce Witham had two receptions for 62 yards.

Ohio State scored 13 points in the second half. Haskins hit Hill for a 27-yard touchdown reception. Blake Haubell also made two field goals.

The Buckeyes led 17-14 at halftime. Haskins hit Hill for a 36-yard touchdown reception. Haskins also hit McLaurin for a 41-yard touchdown reception.

Haubell also made a 21-yard field goal.

Golden Gophers’ Ibrahim scored on a three-yard rushing touchdown. He also scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown.
