The Boise State Broncos dominated the Colorado State Rams on Friday night. They won 56-28 at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho.
The Broncos improved to 5-2 on the season. In addition, they improved to 3-1 in conference play.
They are now on a two-game win streak in their past two games.

The Rams fell to 3-5 on the season. They are now at .500 within conference play.
This loss snapped their two-game win streak.
Broncos quarterback Brett Rypien went 22 of 26 for 308 yards. He had four touchdown passes.
Alexander Mattison had 20 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown. A.J. Richardson had six receptions for 137 yards.
Rams quarterback K.J. Carta-Samuels went 19 of 30 for 238 yards. He had two touchdown passes and two interceptions.
Izzy Matthews had 12 carries for 109 yards and a touchdown. Preston Williams had nine receptions for 154 yards.
Both teams scored 21 points in the second half. Garrett Collingham scored on a four-yard rushing touchdown.

Rypien hit Sean Modster on a 25-yard touchdown reception. Avery Williams also scored on a 44-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Rams’ Carta-Samuels hit Warren Jackson for an eight-yard touchdown reception. Collin Hill also hit Jackson for a 10-yard touchdown reception.
Matthews scored on a five-yard rushing touchdown.
The Broncos outscored the Rams 35-7 in the first half. Rypien hit Richardson for a 13-yard touchdown reception.
Rypien also hit Richardson for a 35-yard touchdown reception. Kekaula Kaniho scored on a 74-yard punt return for a touchdown.
Mattison scored on a three-yard rushing touchdown. Rypien also connected with Modster for a 17-yard touchdown reception.
Carta-Samuels hit Williams for the Rams’ lone first-half points. They connected for a 47-yard touchdown reception with two seconds left in the first half.
