Milton accounts for 4 TDs in Knights win over Temple

The No. 12 UFC Knights defeated the Temple Owls on Thursday night. The Knights won 52-40 over the Owls at  Spectrum Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

The Knights improved to 8-0 on the season. They are now 5-0 in the conference.

UCF has not lost a game since losing 31-13 on December 17th, 2018 against the Arkansas State Red Wolves in the Cure Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

The Owls fell to 5-4 on the season. They are now 4-1 within the conference.

Temple had its three-game win streak snapped with the loss.

Knights quarterback McKenzie Milton went 17 of 33 for 312 yards. He also had three touchdowns and an interception.

Greg McCrae had 16 carries for 188 yards and a touchdown. Taj McGowan had six carries for 56 yards and two touchdowns. Adrian Killins Jr. had nine carries for 34 yards. Milton had seven carries for 19 yards and a touchdown.

Gabriel Davis had two receptions for 63 yards. Otis Anderson had a 57-yard reception. Killins Jr. had three receptions for 55 yards. Dredrick Snelson had three receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown. Tre Nixon had four receptions for 39 yards. Michael Colubiale had two receptions for 28 yards and two touchdowns.

Owls quarterback Anthony Russo went 31 of 52 for 444 yards. He also had four touchdowns and two interceptions.

Ryquell Armstead had 27 carries for 142 yards. Russo had 12 carries for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Ventell Bryant had seven receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Randle Jones had two receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown. Branden Mack had five receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown. Brodrick Yancy had four receptions for 55 yards. Isaiah Wright had five receptions for 40 yards.

Kenny Yeboah had two receptions for 31 yards. Chris Myarick had two receptions for 30 yards.

UCF had 24 points in the second-half. McCrae scored on a 32-yard rushing touchdown. Milton hit Colubiale for a 19-yard touchdown reception.

McGowan also scored on a 10-yard rushing touchdown. Matthew Wright also made a 32-yard field goal.

Temple had six points in the second-half. Russo hit Bryant for an eight-yard touchdown reception. Following the score, the two-point pass conversion failed.

The Owls led 34-28 at halftime. Russo hit Mack for an 18-yard touchdown reception. Russo also hit Jones for a 70-yard touchdown reception.

Russo also scored on a five-yard rushing touchdown. Russo also connected with Bryant for a 15-yard touchdown reception.

Will Mobley also made two field goals.

Knights’ Milton hit Snelson for a 19-yard touchdown reception. Milton also hit Colubiale for a nine-yard touchdown reception.

Milton scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown. McGowan also scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown.
