The Miami Dolphins have a mess on their hands. The NFL franchise is going to be hosting the New York Jets at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

These two teams are going to be playing on a field that took a beating on Saturday. The Duke Blue Devils played the Miami (Florida) Hurricanes in heavy rain and mud.

The NFL is reportedly concerned with the playing surface after what happened one day ago. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, one source called it “horrendous.”

“The field is horrendous,” texted one league source at the stadium on Saturday. “It’s a complete s—show.”

The Jets allege that the field has been ruined for their past two games over the past two years on the field.

“Heard it here first,” another league source texted Saturday night. “The NFL is going to be in the news for the Jets-Dolphins game field playing conditions.”

The condition of the field is concerning because of the majority of these athletes, who will be playing in the game, are high-priced athletes, who make a million per season to as much as $17.5 million in terms of Ryan Tannehill’s contract for 2018.

“Heard it here first,” another league source texted Saturday night. “The NFL is going to be in the news for the Jets-Dolphins game field playing conditions.”

The weather today is a bit different than it was on Saturday. It is going to be around 86 degrees around kickoff with only a 15% chance of precipitation.
