According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins is day-to-day. He’s battling a foot injury.
He had an MRI earlier this week that discovered structural damage in his foot. However, there is no long-term concerns.
Yet, his status for this Sunday is up in the air. The Chiefs host the Arizona Cardinals at 1 pm EST on Sunday.
If Watkins cannot give it a go, Chris Conley would take his spot.
The 25-year-old Fort Myers, Florida native — who is in his first-season after signing a three-year deal with the team in the off-season — has made nine appearances, including eight starts this season.
He has 39 receptions for 515 yards and three touchdowns. He also has five carries for 52 yards.
