The New York Giants defeated the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. The Giants won 27-23 over the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The Giants improved to 2-7 with the win. They are also now 2-3 away from MetLife Stadium.
New York snapped a five-game losing streak with this win. This is their first win since defeating the Houston Texans in Week 3.
The 49ers fell to 2-8 on the season. They are now 2-3 at home this season.
San Francisco is now on a one-game losing streak after defeating the Oakland Raiders 34-3 on Thursday Night Football on Thursday, November 1st.
Giants quarterback Eli Manning went 19 of 31 for 188 yards. He also had three touchdowns.
Saquon Barkley had 20 carries for 67 yards. Sterling Shepard also had a 27-yard carry.
Odell Beckham Jr. had four receptions for 73 yards and two touchdowns. Evan Engram had four receptions for 46 yards. Barkley had four receptions for 33 yards. Shepard had two receptions for nine yards and a touchdown.
49ers quarterback Nick Mullens went 27 of 39 for 250 yards. He also had a touchdown and two interceptions.
Matt Breida had 17 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown. Alfred Morris also had nine carries for 19 yards.
George Kittle had nine receptions for 83 yards. Marquise Goodwin had four receptions for 69 yards. Kendrick Bourne had four receptions for 33 yards. Breida had three receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown.
New York scored 17 points in the second-half. Manning hit Shepard for a three-yard touchdown reception with less than one-minute left in the game. Manning also hit Beckham Jr. for a 20-yard touchdown reception.
Aldrick Rosas also made a 31-yard field goal.
San Francisco had 10 second-half points. Mullens hit Breida for an 11-yard touchdown reception. Robbie Gould also made a 30-yard field goal.
The 49ers led 13-10 at halftime. Breida scored on a three-yard rushing touchdown. Gould also made two field goals.
Giants’ Manning hit Beckham Jr. for a 10-yard touchdown reception. Rosas also made a 20-yard field goal.
