Tide leads third straight CFP: Top 25

The third College Football Playoff: Top 25 was released on Tuesday night. The Alabama Crimson Tide leads the pack in the latest poll.

The Tide are 10-0 on the season. They host the FCS’ The Citadel Bulldogs on Saturday at noon in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The Bulldogs are 4-5. This is basically a bye game for the Crimson Tide before they play the Auburn Tigers during Thanksgiving weekend.

Tua Tagovailoa — the Heisman Trophy favorite — is expected to play in the game despite battling a knee injury.

The Clemson Tigers are No. 2. The Tigers are also 10-0.

They face the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday in Clemson, South Carolina. The Blue Devils are 7-3, and the game will kick off at 7:30 pm.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish is the No. 3 ranked team. The Irish are the only team, who are facing a ranked team this weekend.

The Irish brings their 10-0 record into Yankee Stadium against No. 13 Syracuse Orange in the Bronx, New York. The Orange are 8-2, and the game is slated to start at 2:30 pm EST.  

The Michigan Wolverines are the No. 4 ranked team. They are hosting the Indiana Hoosiers in Ann Arbor, Michigan on Saturday.

The Hoosiers come into the matchup with a 5-5 record. Kickoff is expected at 4 pm.

The Georgia Bulldogs are the No. 5 team in the ranking. They are the first team on the outside looking in.

Last year’s runner up needs one of the Top 4 teams to lose in the next several weeks to get back into the Top 4. They face the UMASS Minutemen on Saturday.

The Minutemen are 4-7 this season. The game is slated to start at 4 pm.

The Oklahoma Sooners are also on the outside of the playoff picture at this time. They are presently the No. 6 ranked team. 

The Sooners face the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday In Norman, Oklahoma. The Jayhawks are 3-7 this season. 

Kickoff for this game is at 7:30 pm EST.
