The No. 3 Gonzaga Bulldogs defeated the Arizona Wildcats on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs won 91-74 over the Wildcats at the Lahaina Civic Center in Maui, Hawai’i in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational.
The Bulldogs will now face the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils on Wednesday night. The game is slated to start at 5 pm EST.
The Bulldogs improved to 5-0 on the season. The Wildcats suffered their first loss of the season.
Rui Hachimura led the Bulldogs with 24 points. He also had six rebounds, one assist, and two steals.
Hachimura was one of four Gonzaga players, who scored in double-figures. Zach Norvell Jr. scored 20 points. Brandon Clarke and Josh Perkins had 18 points each.
The Bulldogs had just eight bench points. Jeremy Jones and Filip Petrusev had four points each.
Jones had six rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Petrusev also had three rebounds and one steal.
Justin Coleman led the Wildcats with 28 points. He also had one rebound, one assist, and one steal.
Coleman was one of three Arizona players, who scored in double-digits. Brandon Randolph had 19 points and Brandon Williams had 15 points.
The Wildcats had just nine bench points. Ira Lee had seven points. He also had six rebounds.
