The New Orleans Saints defeated the Atlanta Falcons on Thanksgiving. The Saints won 31-17 over the Falcons at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Saints are now 10-1 on the season. They are 5-1 at home.
New Orleans has not lost since the season-opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They have not lost in 74 days.
The Falcons fell to 4-7 on the season. They are now 1-4 on the road.
Atlanta has lost three straight games. Their last win was their last road win, as they won 38-14 against the Washington Redskins.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees went 15 of 22 for 171 yards. He also had four touchdowns and one interception.
Alvin Kamara had 14 carries for 89 yards. Mark Ingram II had 11 carries for 52 yards.
Dan Arnold had four receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown. Michael Thomas had four receptions for 38 yards. Tommylee Lewis had a 28-yard touchdown reception. Benjamin Watson had a 20-yard reception, while Austin Carr had a 12-yard touchdown reception. Keith Kirkwood also had a five-yard touchdown reception.
Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan went 35 of 47 for 377 yards. He also had two touchdowns and one interception.
Ryan had two carries for 16 yards.
Julio Jones had 11 receptions for 147 yards. Ridley had eight receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown. Mohamed Sanu had four receptions for 74 yards. Austin Hooper had five receptions for 31 yards. Coleman had three receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown.
New Orleans scored 14 points in the second half. Brees hit Arnold for a 25-yard touchdown reception. Brees also hit Kirkwood for a five-yard touchdown reception.
Atlanta scored 14 points in the second half. Ryan hit Ridley for a two-yard touchdown reception. Ryan hit Coleman for a four-yard touchdown reception.
The Saints led 17-3 at halftime. Drees hit Tommylee Lewis for a 28-yard touchdown reception.
