According to BetOnline.ag, Washington Huskies head coach Chris Petersen is the favorite to land the USC Job. At this time, though, the Trojans have not fired embattled head coach Clay Helton.

USC will host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday night. This could be Helton’s final game as coach.

If he is indeed fired on Sunday or next week, this job will have a lot of high-profile names in it. Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin would reportedly be interested.

Petersen has a +350 to win the position. The Huskies play the Washington State Cougars in the Apple Cup on Friday night.

As the Trojans head coach, Helton is 32-16. He is also 2-2 in Bowl games.

This season, the team is 5-6. However, they have lost four out of its last five games.

Petersen is 45-20 since becoming the Huskies head coach. However, he is just 1-3 in Bowl games.

Two years ago, Washington went 12-2, including winning the Pac-12 Championship.

Here is how betphoenix.ag sees the other candidates:

Former NFL head coach Jack Del Rio +550

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh +600

Syracuse Orange head coach Dino Babers +700

Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin +900

Iowa State Cyclones head coach Matt Campbell +900

Utah State Aggies head coach Matt Wells +1200

Former USC head coach, current Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll +2000

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy +2500
