Black Friday was not good to Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry. He was involved in a multi-car accident.
Curry was involved in an accident on Westbound Highway 24. The crash happened around 9 am PST.
His Porsche made contact with a vehicle that spun out. Then, his vehicle was hit from behind.
He was traveling to the Warriors facility when the accident happened. He is out with a groin injury.
The Warriors face the Portland Trail Blazers at home on Friday night.
The 30-year-old Akron, Ohio native has been sidelined with his groin injury since November 8th. Without their star, the team has gone just 2-5, as he has missed the last seven games with the injury.
This season, Curry averaged 29.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.3 blocks in 12 starts this season. He is also shooting 49% from three-point range in 33.3 minutes per game.
