Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz has been damaged goods. He was told on Wednesday to shut it down by his lawyer and agent.
Later that day, he attended shoot around with his teammates. These are soon-to-be former teammates of the team had their wish.
The 76ers are considering dealing Fultz. The reports he is no longer in their long-term future.
The team wasted a first round draft pick on him in the 2017 NBA Draft.
It is believed that he is dealing with a wrist and shoulder injury, at least according to media reports. He is expected to see a specialist this week.
He was pulled from the starting lineup after the team acquired Jimmy Butler in a blockbuster deal. It was reported after the deal that Fultz would come off the bench.
He has missed the last two games.
The 20-year-old Upper Marlboro, Maryland native has appeared in 19 games this season with 15 starts. He averaged 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game in 22.5 minutes per contest.
As a rookie, he also was hampered by injuries. He appeared in 14 games and averaged 7.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks in 18.1 minutes per game.
