The Alabama Crimson Tide called in a helicopter to help dry the field prior to its rivalry game with the Auburn Tigers. These two in-state rivals will battle it out at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

According to Athletic Director Greg Byrne, the school used two helicopters to try the field.

The Iron Bowl will kick off at 3:30 pm EST on National Television. It will be broadcasted on CBS.

The Crimson Tide will look for revenge in this battle, as they lost to the Tigers in last year’s meeting in Auburn, Alabama. Auburn won that game 26-14.

This Alabama team is different, as they are led by Heisman front-runner Tua Tagovailoa, who is having a dominant season. The Tide are 11-0.

The Tigers are 7-4. They are also just 1-2 on the road this season.

The Tide has not won in this series since the game was played at Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2016. Alabama won that game, 30-12. This was Bama’s third straight win in the series that was snapped with the 2017 game.

In the past 10 games in the series, the Tide holds a 7-3 advantage. Besides the 2017 win, they had not won since November 30th, 2013 when Chris Davis had the kick-six for a 34-28 win.

They also won November 26th, 2010 when it was 28-27 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This was Auburn’s last win at their rivals’ stadium.
