Blue Raiders look to win 6th straight at home vs. Blazers

The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders face the UAB Blazers on Saturday afternoon. The game will kickoff at 1:30 pm EST at CBS Sports Network at Johnny “Red” Floyd Stadium in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The Blazers are 9-3. They; however, are 3-3 on the road.

The Blue Raiders are 8-4 this season. They are perfect 5-0 at home.

According to Covers.com Consensus Analysis, the Blue Raiders have a 66% chance to win the game, according to their public poll. Middle Tennessee; however, has a 53% chance to win, according to their expert poll.

The Blue Raiders won the first meeting this year. They won last Saturday, 27-3, over the Blazers.

UAB has not won in this series since 2017 when they won 25-23 on October 14th, 2017.

In the past six series, the series is 3-3.

The Blazers come into the game on a two-game losing streak. They were defeated by the Blue Raiders on Nov. 24th. They also were defeated 41-20 Texas A&M Aggies on Nov. 17.

The Blue Raiders will bring a one-game win streak into the game. They haven’t lost since Nov. 17 to the Kentucky Wildcats, 34-23.

Blazers quarterback A.J. Erdely has gone 111 of 198 for 1,539 yards. He has seven touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Spencer Brown leads the Blazers backs with 216 carries for 993 yards and 15 touchdowns. Xavier Ubosi leads the Blazers receivers with 27 receptions for 594 yards and five touchdowns.

Blue Raiders quarterback Brent Stockstill has gone 272 of 382 for 2,852 yards. He also has 26 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Chaton Mobley leads the Blue Raiders backs with 104 carries for 529 yards and four touchdowns. Ty Lee leads the Blue Raiders with 65 receptions for 806 yards and seven touchdowns.
