Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt was sent home on Friday from the team’s facility. The Chiefs made this move after TMZ released a video from a February 2018 incident.
The Chiefs are expected to be without one of their best offensive weapons now. He is expected to be placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List.

Once he is placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, he cannot practice or play in any games with the team. He’s also limited in what he can do with the team.

Hunt would be the second player placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List this week. Washington Redskins linebacker Reuben Foster was placed on this list a few days ago.
Like Foster, Hunt was involved in a domestic violence matter with a woman. Each athlete is alleged to have hit a woman during the incident in question.
In the video, which was obtained by TMZ Sports, he was seen arguing with a woman. This incident was previously reported by multiple news outlets; however, this is the first time the video has come into play.
The incident happened at 3:22 am on February 10th, 2018. It happened outside of a room at The Metropolitan.
As he turned the corner, he confronted the woman. He also shoved her. She then strikes him in the face.
That’s when Hunt lost it. He goes berserk as his friend attempts to hold him back before the friend crashes into the woman after he is not able to control Hunt. The friend and woman then hit the wall.
When the woman was on the ground after being dazed from hitting the wall, she was kicked by Hunt.
