Sooners will attempt to win their third straight Big 12 Conference Championship game

The Oklahoma Sooners face the Texas Longhorns in the Big 12 Conference Championship on Saturday. The game will kick off at noon on ABC at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The Longhorns bring a 9-3 mark into the game. They are 4-2 on the road.

The Sooners are 11-1. They bring a perfect 4-0 record into this road game.

The Sooners will attempt to win their third straight Big 12 Conference Championship game. The then-No. 2 Sooners defeated then-No. 10 TCU Horned Frogs, 41-17, in 2017.

They also defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 23-20, at Cowboys Stadium in 2010.

Texas has not won a Big 12 Conference Championship game since 2009. The Longhorns won 13-12 over the Cornhuskers at Cowboys Stadium.

According to Covers.com Consensus Analysis, the Longhorns have a 56% chance to win this game, according to their public poll. However, in their expert poll, the Longhorns have a 62% chance to win the game.

The Longhorns won the first meeting this year. Texas won 48-45 in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.

Prior to that, Oklahoma won two straight games. Their last win was a 29-24 win over the Longhorns on October 14th, 2017.

Texas brings a three-game win streak into the Conference Championship game. The Longhorns defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Iowa State Cyclones, and the Kansas Jayhawks in those three games.

They have not lost since being defeated 42-41 by the West Virginia Mountaineers on November 3rd.

Oklahoma has a six-game win streak. This streak includes wins over the TCU Horned Frogs, Kansas State Wildcats, Red Raiders, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Jayhawks, and the Mountaineers.

The Sooners last loss came to the Longhorns.

The Longhorns are scoring 31.7 points per game. They are giving up 25.2 points.

The Sooners are scoring 50.3 points per contest. They are giving up 32.8.

Sooners quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Kyler Murray has gone 216 of 306 for 3,674 yards. He also has 37 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Kennedy Brooks leads the Sooners backs with 103 carries for 993 yards and 12 touchdowns. Marquise Brown leads the Sooners receivers with 70 receptions for 1,264 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger has gone 233 of 362 for 2,774 yards. He also has 23 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Keaontay Ingram leads the Longhorns backs with 129 carries for 676 yards and three touchdowns. Lil’Jordan Humphrey leads the Longhorns receivers with 72 receptions for 1,058 yards and eight touchdowns.
