Thomas, App State battles ULL for Sun Belt Championship

The Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns will face the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Saturday for the Sun Belt Conference Championship. The Game will kick off at noon on ESPN at Kidd-Brewer Stadium in Boone, North Carolina.

The Ragin’ Cajuns being a 7-5 mark in to the game. They; however, are just 2-4 on the road.

The Mountaineers are 9-2 this season. They are a perfect 5-0 at home.

According to the Covers.com Consensus Analysis, the Mountaineers have a 66% chance to win this game. However, according to their expert poll, Appalachian State has an 88% chance to win the game.

Appalachian State is 4-0 in the series all-time. They also won this year’s meeting 27-17 on October 20th.

The Ragin’ Cajuns are on a three-game win streak. They defeated the Georgia State Panthers, South Alabama Jaguars, and Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

Louisiana-Lafayette has not lost since November 3rd. They lost 26-16 to the Troy Trojans.

Appalachian State is on a four-game win streak. They defeated the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, Texas State Bobcats, the Panthers, and the Trojans.

The Mountaineers have not lost since October 25th to the Georgia Southern Eagles, 34-14.

Ragin’ Cajuns quarterback Andre Nunez has gone 164 of 249 for 2,051 yards. He also has 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Trey Ragas leads the Ragin’ Cajuns backs with 181 carries for 1,040 yards and eight touchdowns. Ja’Marcus Bradley leads the Ragin’ Cajuns receivers with 34 receptions for 516 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Mountaineers quarterback Zac Thomas has gone 138 of 217 for 1,787 yards. He also had 18 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Darrynton Evans leads the Mountaineers backs with 148 carries for 968 yards and seven touchdowns. Corey Xavier Sutton lead the Mountaineers receivers with 34 receptions for 672 yards and eight touchdowns.
