The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide defeated No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday night. The Crimson Tide won 35-28 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Crimson Tide improved to 13-0 on the season. They finish conference play with an 8-0 record.
The Bulldogs fell to 11-2 on the season. They suffered their first conference loss, as they fell to 7-1.

The Crimson Tide and the Florida Gators have appeared in the most SEC Football Championships with 12. The Tide broke the tie with the Gators, as they now have eight SEC Football Championships.
The game changed when Jalen Hurts came into the game, replacing Tua Tagovailoa in the fourth quarter. After leading the Tide down the field and tying the game at 28, Bulldogs made a huge mistake.
On 4th and 11 with less than five minutes left in the game, head coach Kirby Smart refused to punt the ball. Instead, he asked Justin Fields to run the ball.
Fields went just two yards and turned the ball over on downs. A short-time later, Hurts scored the game-winning touchdown.
Crimson Tide quarterback Tagovailoa went 10 of 25 for 164 yards. He also had a touchdown and two interceptions.
Backup quarterback Hurts came in after Tagovailoa was injured in the fourth quarter. Hurts went 7 of 9 for 82 yards, and he had a touchdown.
Joshua Jacobs had eight carries for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Jaylen Waddle had four receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown.

Bulldogs quarterback Jake Fromm went 25 of 39 for 301 yards. He had three touchdown passes.
D’Andre Swift had 16 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown. Isaac Nauta had four receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown.
Crimson Tide outscored the Bulldogs 21-7 in the second half. Georga scored the first touchdown before Alabama scored the final three scores of the game.
Tagovailoa hit Waddle for a 51-yard touchdown reception. Hurts hit Jerry Jeudy for a 10-yard touchdown reception.
Hurts also scored a 15-yard rushing touchdown.
Bulldogs’ Fromm hit Riley Ridley for a 23-yard touchdown reception.
Georgia led 21-14 at halftime. Fromm hit Nauta for a 20-yard touchdown reception.
Swift scored on a nine-yard rushing touchdown. He also scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown.
Bama’s Jacobs scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown. He also scored on a zero-yard rushing touchdown.
