Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver A.J. Brown has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft. He will forgo his senior season at the school.
Brown is the fourth wide receiver prospect to declare for the Draft. He joins his teammate, D.K. Metcalf, who also declared.
Former Arizona State Sun Devils wide receiver N’Keal Harry also declared for the draft. Former North Carolina Wolfpacks wide out Kelvin Harmon has also entered his name into the mix.
Harry and Harmon will not play in their team’s respective Bowl games. The Rebels are not eligible to play in a Bowl game, as they are under sanctions that expire following this season.
The Starkville, Mississippi native was a Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist the past two seasons. He also was a member of the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Award Watch List this season.
Brown had 85 receptions for 1,320 yards this season with six touchdowns. In his final game with the Rebels, he had four receptions for 61 yards.
His best game of the season came on November 17th. He had nine receptions for 212 yards and a touchdown against the Vanderbilt Commodores.
He had eight receptions for 158 yards and two touchdowns against the Southern Illinois Panthers in his best touchdown game of the season.
In his collegiate career with the Rebels, he had 189 receptions for 2,984 yards in 36 games. He also had 19 touchdowns with a career-high 11 touchdowns in 2017.
